  • Targeted Therapy Directed by Genetic Testing in Treating Patients With Advanced Refractory Solid Tumors, Lymphomas, or Multiple Myeloma (The MATCH Screening Trial)

    This phase II MATCH screening and multi-sub-trial studies how well treatment that is directed by genetic testing works in patients with solid tumors, lymphomas, or multiple myelomas that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced) and does not respond to treatment (refractory). Patients must have progressed following at least one line of standard treatment or for which no agreed upon treatment approach exists. Genetic tests look at the unique genetic material (genes) of patients' tumor cells. Patients with genetic abnormalities (such as mutations, amplifications, or translocations) may benefit more from treatment which targets their tumor's particular genetic abnormality. Identifying these genetic abnormalities first may help doctors plan better treatment for patients with solid tumors, lymphomas, or multiple myeloma.

  • Study of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) vs Standard Therapy in Participants With Microsatellite Instability-High (MSI-H) or Mismatch Repair Deficient (dMMR) Stage IV Colorectal Carcinoma (MK-3475-177/KEYNOTE-177)

    In this study, participants with stage IV Microsatellite Instability-High (MSI-H) or Mismatch Repair Deficient (dMMR) colorectal carcinoma (CRC) will be randomly assigned to receive either pembrolizumab or the Investigator's choice of 1 of 6 standard of care (SOC) chemotherapy regimens for the treatment of advanced colorectal carcinoma.   • Thromboelastography to Assess Hemostatic Changes in Patients Undergoing Elective Cesarean Delivery.

    The purpose of the study is to assess the coagulation changes that occur in patients undergoing elective Cesarean delivery using thromboelastography (TEG).   • Surgery With or Without Postoperative Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Urothelial Bladder Cancer

    This randomized phase II trial studies the side effects and how well postoperative intensity modulated radiotherapy works after surgery in treating patients with urothelial bladder cancer. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells left behind in the pelvis after surgery. It is not yet known whether surgery followed by radiotherapy is more effective than surgery alone in treating patients with urothelial bladder cancer.

  • Switch From Nevirapine-based Regimen to Once a Day Rilpivirine/Emtricitabine/Tenofovir

    The study will be an open-label, pilot study in virologically suppressed patients comparing the efficacy, safety and tolerability of two Antiretroviral regimen strategies:

    Arm A: "Immediate switch" Rilpivirine/Emtricitabine/Tenofovir (single tablet formulation (STF))at randomization

    Arm B: "Delayed switch" Continue Nevirapine/Lamivudine/other Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI)through 24 weeks then switch to STF of Rilpivirine/emtrictabine/tenofovir and followed through 48 weeks.

  • StrokeCog-BBB to Study Cognitive Outcomes Following Stroke

    The goal of this observational study is to learn about cognitive outcomes in stroke patients. The main question it aims to answer are: 1. Is blood-brain barrier permeability compromised for years after stroke, 2. Is a blood biomarker of imbalanced angiogenesis dysregulated in chronic stroke and 3. Are there biomarkers that separately or together predicts cognitive decline after stroke, and are other MRI, blood, and clinical characteristics that are associated. Participants will undergo cognitive testing and MRIs two years apart. Researchers will compare cognitive outcomes in non-stroke patients who have cardiovascular risk factors to understand the effects of stroke on these outcomes.
