Modern Proton Radiation Oncology

Taking place at the Simonyi Conference Center (4th floor of the CoDa building), this symposium will focus on contemporary topics in proton therapy.

In addition to presentations by leaders in the field, representatives from leading industrial companies will also have exhibit desks at the symposium. In the late afternoon, we will have a site visit to Stanford Hospital for attendees interested in gaining practical perspectives on emerging proton therapy with upright patient positioning. Attendees will have opportunities to tour the Radiation Oncology Department at Stanford University and learn about the state-of-the-art radiation oncology retreat and registration website for the symposium, which will be available online soon.

An inviting reception and tour of the Stanford Medicine Cancer Center will take place at 4:30 pm. The Stanford Medicine Cancer Center Tour and Reception will feature a site visit of our clinic—highlighting proton therapy with upright patient positioning as well as other advanced treatment technologies at Stanford—alongside a poster session with our latest research. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
