Research

My past research was in material science and medical instrumentations. The material science work covered: Kelvin and sub-Kelvin cryogenic system development; electric and magnetic properties of superconductors; muon spin rotation in micro magnetic structure study of materials; thin-film superconductor and thin-film superconducting device fabrication and characterization; development of non-invasive technology to thing film and thing-film device detection; and development of algorithms and software for Si wafer defects detection and thin-film layer metrology. The medical instrumentation work covered: MEG-EEG (magnetoencephalograph-electroencephalograph) system development; MRI system development; ultrasound system development; CT system development; and SPECT system development, including the hardware and software development of these systems. My current research is in the development of IGRT system for experimental animals.
