Research
My doctoral research involved the development of a new finite volume method to overcome the geometric singularity. After graduation, I’m working in the Physics School of Peking University in China as an instructor. My research involved the development of an imaging system for the Super Gamma Knife. I developed a new image registration algorithm-Diagonal Mutual Information method and a new volume CT reconstruction algorithm-Virtual Pi Line method. At Stanford, I’m working with Dr. Lei Xing on 4D image-guided radiation therapy and 4D adaptive therapy inverse planning techniques to account for respiratory motion during treatment.
