Research

Dr Teo received his PhD in Physics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where he researched in atomic, molecular and optical physics with ultracold atoms. Prior to Stanford, he worked at the Department of Radiology University of California San Francisco in detector physics for small animal radionuclide (SPECT) and X-ray imaging. His research also involved developing methods to correct partial volume errors in PET and incorporating this into image segmentation. His current focus is in the quantitative aspect of functional imaging for target delineation as well as monitoring response to therapy.
