Research

My doctoral research involved the development of novel portal imagers incorporating very high quantum efficiency detectors. Such imagers are capable of yielding high quality projection images at extremely low dose (~1 linac pulse per image) and, therefore, have the potential to achieve soft-tissue contrast visualization using megavoltage CT at clinically acceptable doses. At Stanford, I am working with Dr. Paul Keall on image-guided radiotherapy techniques including MLC-based tracking to account for respiratory motion during treatment.
